forgotten. Our programs-both the Domestic Violence Program and St. Katharine Drexel Homeless Shelter program-stand as beacons of hope, offering refuge, support, and a pathway

Shedding Light on Domestic Violence

Domestic violence thrives in silence. At Solutions Center, we work tirelessly to break that silence by providing survivors with safe shelter, legal advocacy, emotional support, and empowerment programs. Our Domestic Violence Program offers:

• Emergency Shelter – A confidential and secure space where survivors can find immediate safety.
• Advocacy & Support – Guidance through legal processes, access to resources, and emotional counseling.
• Case Management – Personalized support to help survivors navigate housing, employment, and financial independence.
• Outreach Case Management – Extending support beyond shelter walls to assist survivors in their own environments and connect them with essential resources.
• Education & Prevention – Community outreach programs aimed at breaking the cycle of abuse through awareness and intervention.

Our goal is not just to provide a safe place but to help survivors reclaim their independence and confidence, ensuring they are truly seen, valued, and supported.

Our services include:

• Emergency Shelter – Safe accommodations for single adults and families facing housing insecurity.
• One-on-One Advocacy – Personalized support to address financial barriers, employment opportunities, and long-term stability.
• Case Management – Tailored assistance to help residents access resources, develop life skills, and achieve lasting stability.
• Outreach Case Management – Providing continued guidance to individuals transitioning out of the shelter, ensuring long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
• Holistic Care – Resources such as mental health support, job training, and life skills education to help residents transition into independent living.
• Child & Teen Program – Specialized support for young individuals affected by homelessness, including educational resources, counseling, and recreational activities.

By offering comprehensive support, we ensure that those who enter our shelter leave with a renewed sense of purpose and hope for the future.

Can you see me, lost and small, Behind these walls so cold and tall? A mother’s tears, a child’s cry, seeking shelter, asking why.

Can you see us on the street, tiny hands with aching feet? A home once ours, now lost and gone, yet still we fight, we must hold on.

Can you see the fear we hide, Bruises masked and pain inside? A gentle voice, a helping hand, A chance to heal, to rise, to stand.

Can you see the hope still bright, A spark that glows within the night? With love, with care, with strength anew, we build a path, we push on through.
